Abstract

The performance and quality of life of employees in any company or organization are aspects of great importance for all entities involved, as balance is necessary between both parties to enable a healthy and efficient employment relationship. Thus, one of the ways that companies can manipulate the way their employees work is by establishing work models that employees must follow, these being in-person, remote and hybrid, each with different characteristics and impacts on performance and quality. of life. Based on this, this work sought to analyze the impacts of work models on the performance and quality of life of employees in the Information Technology area. From a methodological point of view, a Survey research was carried out whose data were collected through the application of a questionnaire.  Based on the responses obtained, a statistical treatment was carried out through which hypothesis tests were carried out to verify the impact of the remote work model in relation to others. Finally, it was concluded that the remote work model, based on the data collected, presents good evidence that it contributes positively to performance and quality of life. Furthermore, it was also found that the remote work model presents significant evidence of a positive impact on quality in relation to other models, however, there is not enough evidence to confirm that this statement is true for performance.
