O corpo interminável, de Claudia Lage: Uma experiência de leitura

The article presents a reading experience with O corpo interminável, by Claudia Lage, carried out with students of the 2nd year of high school from the Reception Method. The questions that motivated our research were: a) Can Claudia Lage's novel lead the student to have a critical view of the relationship between women and the Military Dictatorship? b) How are the acts of torture of the female body portrayed in the narrative under study? c) How are the conflicts of the militant characters configured in this work? To support our study, we used Bordini and Aguiar (1988), Colling (1997), Rosa (2013), among others. As a result, we found that the students had a very significant view of the relationship between women and the dictatorship, as well as the role of female subjects in the struggle against the regime.
