Abstract

Pre-dialing treatment consists of medications and actions that decrease or slow down the progression of chronic renal failure. This study supports the quality of patient life with chronic renal failure and pre-diagnostic treatment, but also as a combination of sociodemographic and psychological variations. Trata-se de estudo transversal, observacional e de fase única, realizado com 54 pacientes em acompanhamento ambulatorial na Unidade de Diálise do Hospital das Clínicas, no interior de São Paulo. Foram utilizados o Mini Exame do Estado Mental, o Beck Depression Inventory and o Medical Outcomes Study SF-36. Predominant participants of the male sex, with the media idea of 59.2 years. The physical aspects constitute dominion but compromise the quality of life. We present the majority of depressive symptoms and other media our authorities endorse. A linear regression identifies multiple associations between SF-36 determinants and depressive symptoms, ideas, cognitive aspects, urea and creatinine.
