Subjectivity and its Relations with Psychopathology from a Phenomenological Perspective

Abstract

This article aims to define the concept of subjectivation and analyze its forms of expression, considering the modes of being-in-the-world and their relations with Psychopathology in contemporary times, from a phenomenological perspective. Throughout this work, an epistemological approach is taken, initially focusing on the collective character of  subjectivity  and  analyzing  the   processes  of   subjectivation  in   contemporary     times.

Subsequently, the psychopathological phenomenon is addressed from a comprehensive perspective, configuring it as a process that translates into the modes of being-in-the-world inherent to each subject. In the final considerations, the experiential character of the subject in their possibilities of being-in-the-world is emphasized, the investigation of which, presented here from a phenomenological perspective, starts from the principle of trying to understand the subjectivity of being and its implications in the psychopathological phenomenon. It is always a quest to understand the subjective condition of the subject, because it is something that can never be fully accessed, as it does not encompass the totality of each person's way of being and existing.
