Portugues Post-Covid-19 Pneumonia: A Case Report on the Most Common Findings in Imaging Exams

Abstract: Pulmonary infections associated with the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) called COVID-19 are a public health problem in the country due to its intense proportion and expansion, especially affecting elderly patients. The objective of the present study was to report a case of an elderly patient, who was referred to a private clinic in the city of Petrolina - PE to perform the imaging exam and review the literature regarding pneumonia associated with post-Covid-19. It was developed through a case
report, together with findings from the literature in the Scielo and BMJ Best Practice databases. In the report, the patient has a diagnosis of post-Covid-19 pneumonia with important findings on chest imaging. In short, it was found that the diagnosis must be made in the correlation of the radiological findings and the patient's symptomatology.
